LANDSCAPE & FIGURES by UNKNOWN Paper China Dimensions with frame: 187 x 70 cm painting: 107 x 59 cm This elaborate-style painting depicts two different kinds of landscape & figures. In the near distance, people are reading or chatting in the pavilions, we can see artificial hills and peach trees in blossom; in the far distance, some people are chatting on horseback, moving forward slowly. The overall painting style is warm and cozy. The painter is unknown, but it writes “臣郎世宁恭绘” in the lower right.
