Civil Merit Order, 1st Class, 2nd pattern, 1900 - 1933 Set of 1st Class, consisting of 1st Class Cross, surmounted by the angular Czar's Crown with pendilia flying off, the pendilia embossed on both sides, silver-gilt and enameled, in the suspension ring with hallmark "AXC" in lozenge, on original and period matching sash with rosette. Breast star, silver, partially gilt, the applied cross and medallion enameled, the pin on the reverse with hallmark "AXC" in lozenge and the Mercury export hallmark. The award case covered with green genuine leather, imprinted crowned monogram "F I" for Tsar Ferdinand, order and class designation. Order cross and breast star in impressive size. The hallmark "AXC" is attributed to the Parisian medal maker Adrien Chobillion. The "X" in the hallmark only serves to separate the two letters. Condition: II +
