A most interesting and much sought-after collection, illustrated in the first edition with more than 200 plates, some of them double-page and others colored, reproducing old and curious caricatures. The first volume is almost entirely devoted to the Revolution and the Empire. A very nice copy, enriched with 12 delivery covers, bound at the end of volume II.
