In-12, bright red morocco, jansenist, blue morocco lining framed with a set of seven gilt filets, two of which are double, enclosing a red morocco scroll, stylized floral stem with gilt foliage in the corners, red moire guard, gilt edges on witnesses (Marius Michel).
First edition of this collection of texts on the Siege of Paris and on the Commune. There were only 5 copies in large paper, all on chine.
