Small in-12, red morocco, double fillet bordered by a repeated triple gilt dot, spandrels, in the center a small quatrefoil in reserve around which is arranged a decoration of small gilt and dotted irons, spine decorated, gilt edges (Binding of the time). Latin edition of the Institution of the Christian Prince, printed by Andries Cloucq, collaborator of the Elzevier in Leiden. Engraved intaglio title-frontispiece, unsigned, decorated with a medallion portrait of Erasmus. Beautiful 17th century gilt binding. Old manuscript bookplate at the bottom of the frontispiece. Restoration to the binding, notably the upper hinge and the headpieces.
