Large banquet tablecloth and fifteen napkins in a superb linen damask pattern of a beautiful fineness particularly well worked in shading on the theme of The Miraculous Fishing rarely used in damask table linen: two apostles on a beach with shells raising the net loaded with fish and shellfish, one turning to two other apostles in a boat, Simon kneeling before Christ standing on one side of the scene. Large border with corals, rushes and delicate vegetation loaded with flowers, between a beaded frieze and a silky ribbon, the spandrels decorated with shells, Bernard the Hermit and St Jacques shell. Discrete very small monogram HB embroidered in white on the edge. Dim. tablecloth : 5,20 x 2,40 m, napkins : Dim. 92 x 77 cm (very good condition for the whole)
