Dagger with ears in the style of the work of Diego Caias (Spain, period of activity: 1535-1549) Mounted in damascened iron, ivory and silver. Blackened and gold damascened silk edge decorated with foliage and scrolls, flanked by two silver plates decorated with lines forming the inside of the ears at the pommel. The set is decorated on both sides with ivory plates riveted and studded with silver. Straight double-edged blade, median edge and ricasso, gold damascened with foliage and foliage decoration.
