Monseigneur the Duke of Orleans. Pari, Chiquet, s.d. (1719). In-8 oblong, modern half tan basane (scratches). Fully engraved atlas containing a title and 55 leaves numbered 3 to 56, including 22 maps and 4 astronomical plates; followed by 4 leaves of tables of ancient and modern sacred geography. Without f. 2 which is still missing. Handwritten table on one endpaper. Title soiled, stained, creased. Freckles, soiling, numbering in pen. Joint : LAPIE. Classic and universal atlas of ancient and modern geography. Paris, Anselin et Pochard, 1824. In-folio, half tan basane, printed title-piece pasted on the first plate, smooth spine decorated (Rel. of the period). Third edition, almost entirely engraved on new drawings. Beautiful atlas, printed on strong laid paper, containing 41 of 42 maps. Missing map 20. Binding rubbed, stained. First endpaper missing, seams fragile.
