CHINA - 18th century Vase with a rounded body and a slightly flared neck in spinach green jade (nephrite), the body carved in light relief with two friezes of archaic motifs of confronted and intertwined animals, the neck adorned with a frieze of leaves flanked by two handles spat out by chimera heads, the foot decorated with a frieze of leaves. (Important missing and restoration to the foot, chips, natural veins). Height : 27,5 cm Provenance : Galerie Max, December 22, 1948.
