CHINA - Tang Dynasty (618-907) Silvered bronze mirror, the grip in the shape of a dragon, surrounded by a first row of four dormice and two peacocks among vines, in a second row of birds among vines, the rim decorated with a frieze of flowers. (Accident to the edge). Diameter : 14,3 cm Reference : Similar mirror in the Smithsonian, Washington DC, n°F1905.60a-b. Provenance : Galerie Themis, Brussels, March 29, 1952.
