CHINA - Han Dynasty (206 BC - 220 AD) Silvered bronze mirror decorated in a square with a wish surrounded by herbs and leaves called "caoye" surrounded by a frieze of semi-circles. Diameter : 15,4 cm The inscription ri youguang, yi jiushi, chang gui fu, le wu shi (the sun is shining, perfect time to drink and eat, be rich for a long time, be happy and do nothing) Reference : Similar mirror in the Art Gallery, Sydney, n°171.1986.
