ROUAULT. VOLLARD (Ambroise). Reincarnations of Father Ubu. Paris, Vollard, 1932. In-folio. In sheets with original covers, recent folders and cases. Work illustrated by the painter Georges Rouault (1871-1958), who took a large part in its conception and realization. He specified in particular the location of the hors-texte etchings, in a table placed at the end of the volume where these compositions are shown in reduction, engraved on wood. Rouault is also the author of the preface. The illustration is composed of 22 hors-texte etchings, and 104 woodcut compositions. Limited edition of 330 copies : one of 250 on Vidalon vellum paper, with a suite on Arches and Rives.
