Fourth Elzevirian edition of this fundamental study, conforming to the original edition of 1631 and its reprints of 1635 and 1642. It is illustrated with a title-frontispiece and 35 double plates (num. A-Z and Aa-Mm), engraved on copper, as well as 8 double tables hors-texte.
