In-4, [8] f., 959 p., [38] f., contemporary brown calf, ribbed spine decorated, gilt title, red edges (stains on the lower cover, small tear at the head of the spine, worm work on the upper cover extending into the text affecting a few letters without gravity). Uncommon first edition of this commentary on the Coutume d'Orléans, by the jurisconsult Jean Duret (circa 1540-1620), lawyer, then investigator of the king in Moulins, and finally canon of the same city.
