In-4, red half-maroquin with corners, gilt fillets on the boards, spine with 4 nerves decorated with a small female figure wearing a garland of flowers, gilt head, lined case - 116 pp. 4 ff. 14 original full-page etchings by Édouard Chimot. Edition of 429 numbered copies on large Rives vellum, 1/195 (n° 361). In a Greek antiquity of fantasy, Meusnier de Querlon satirizes the dinners given in his time by great characters. The key to the Soupers de Daphné is given at the end of the book. Among them, Louis XV himself, Mme de Mailly, the princess of Rohan and some others. A small gallant masterpiece of the XVIIIth century illustrated in the antique style and with a great lightness by Édouard Chimot.
