Born and died in New York, Creifelds was a student of the National Academy of Design and completed his training at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Munich. He exhibited at the Brooklyn Art Association, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and the Art Institute of Chicago. Some of his works are in public collections in New York: St. Andrews Church, Park Avenue Armory, Chamber of Commerce, Brooklyn Museum of Art.
