Oil and decorated in application of athenians and trophies in gilded bronze. It stands on four ball feet. The white enamel dial with Roman numerals signed "Le Roy Horloger de Madame à Paris". H. 34.5 cm - L. 15 cm . D. 12 cm The House of Leroy was founded in 1747 by Basile Le Roy, a student of the master watchmaker Joseph Quétin. In 1785, his son Charles Le Roy, is received master clockmaker at 20 years. They set up their store under the arcades of the Palais Royal. In 1790, the ambient context, pushes the two clockmakers to change their name, they will choose the anagram Elyor. From 1794, the quality of its work pushes them to sign again Le Roy their productions.
