LATE GOTIC BILDSCHNITZER Alpine region/Allgäu, "Madonna with Child", limewood colored, three-quarter carved figure of the crowned Mother of God with scepter, holding the Christ child on her right arm, the back hollowed, mounted on canted and stepped pedestal (probably supplemented), H: total ca. 100 cm. Signs of age, the frame partially damaged, the upper part of the scepter missing.
