Quilt in the shape of a double bolster, embroidered with exotic Chinoiseries, Canton for export, China, 18th century. Yellow silk satin, embroidery in floche silk and cordonet of a decoration with exotic bestiary and flora including a representation of a pineapple and pomegranate, Phoenix in central medallion, plum blossoms, butterflies, birds, elephant ... Original blue silk bias, cotton lining (acc. some missing or not embroidered parts (?). Dim: 198 x 200 cm with side lapels of 73 cm high and 125 cm wide tray.
