French dress complete with its stomach piece, Provence, circa 1763, Louis XV period. Ochre satin background with green and purple shaded stripes adorned with white floral streams. Dress coat and full petticoat with gathered falbalas underlined by a crest of orange silk. Double engageantes with rounded cut (weighted with their lead) and long flounces of engageante in embroidered muslin. Stomach piece decorated with a triple scale of bows and falbalas. Siamese striped lining. Very nice condition despite some weaknesses in the armhole and old resumptions on the coat.
