Anne-Louis GIRODET-TRIOSON. L.A.S., [1824 ?], to Madame de REISET; 1 page small in-8, address with red wax seal of arms (broken). He thanks his correspondent for her good memory "I had not forgotten her on my side, but I have been rather indisposed since I had the honor to see her, and I did not believe her departure so precipitous! I I am sending her this trifle, which has no other merit than its intention, and I wish Madame de Reizet a happy trip and a quick return to Paris"... 2 L.A.S. to the same : by Fanny ROBERT (1795-1872, pupil of Girodet), December 16, 1819 : "you give us a great proof of your love for arts by coming to visit young artists, lodged very close to the sky [...]. Our little studio is on the sixth floor [...] I will have great pleasure to receive you there and to do you the honors if our Grand-Master [Girodet] is not happy enough to give you his hand himself"...; and by Julie JOLY, September 2, 1830, saying her desire to be "pleasant to one of the most distinguished friends of my illustrious master and one of those whose high merit he appreciated the most"...
