Sofa in richly carved and gilded wood, the consoles of arm in the shape of winged lions. It rests on eight feet. The front feet are shaped like lions' paws. Front crosspiece and upright with palmettes. Empire period. Height : 105 cm - Width : 234 cm Depth : 76 cm (Small accidents and missing gilding, reinforcements on two back legs) Trace of upholsterer's signature stenciled behind the back rail: C Bandry 19 (?) and graphite inscription "Fait par... ory... Paris". Under the front crossbar: stamped mark C 10 3. Damask upholstery with laurel wreaths in pink velvet on yellow background (very damaged).
