Louis HAYET (1864-1940) attributed to Entrance to Gisors, road to Rouen, 1888-1890 Oil on canvas. 54 x 73 cm (Reversal, restorations) "Mr Christophe Duvivier has confirmed the attribution of the work to Louis Hayet. A certificate of inclusion in the artist's catalog may be requested by the buyer." On the plan published in the "Maladrerie Saint-Lazare de Gisors" (Monuments et sites de l'Eure, 1899), one recognizes, on the left, the tower of Gisors. In the foreground, on each side of the road, appear the chapel and the farm of the Maladrerie Saint-Lazare of Gisors.
