Antique British Royal Navy Officers Bicorn Hat and Epaulettes Worn by H. Norman of the Royal Navy, circa 1910. Naval Officer's black 'beaver' hat in original metal protective case. The upper edge of the hat is adorned with black silk lace woven in an oak leaf and acorn pattern. The right side bears a black silk ribbon cockade and a single twist of bright gold bullion and a Kings crown bronze button. Comes together with two extremely fine quality Naval Officer's full dress epaulettes of regulation pattern, gold lace straps and purl fringe. The straps embellished with a star over a fouled anchor.
