An Afghan Jezail flintlock Rifle, ca. 1850
Teak full stock with the curved grip, inlaid with bone decorations. The round Damascus barrel mounted with copper bands on the wooden full stock. Brass trigger guard and curved iron lockplate, cock and ramrod. The lockplate made from recycled British army gun parts and dated ‘1818’.
