A French Percussion Pistol, circa 1840

A French Percussion Pistol, circa 1840 Single shot percussion pistol with walnut full stock, chequered grip and octagonal barrel with wide muzzle in Cal. 10 mm. Flat iron lockplate with bevelled edges, flat iron cock and wooden ramrod. Iron trigger guard with engraved bird, thumb plate and iron grip plate with engraved horse. Length: 30.5 cm.
