Single shot flintlock pistol with smooth walnut full stock, an octagonal barrel, merging to round in Cal. 15 mm and with double iron barrel band. Stamped on the barrel ‘1811’ and signed on the lockplate: “Maubeuge Manuf. Imp...” (= ‘Manufacture Impériale de Maubeuge’). Vaulted iron lockplate, cock, trigger guard, thumb plate, smooth iron gripcap and iron ramrod.
