British Cavalry Flintlock Pistol for East India Company, ca. 1804. Single shot flintlock pistol with smooth walnut full stock, round barrel in smooth bore Cal. 15mm. and brass barrel band. Vaulted iron lock plate with engraved heart-shaped cartouche and ‘EIC’ initials (= East Indian Company), and dated ‘1804’. Behind the cock owners name ‘Barnet’. Brass grip ring with iron suspension ring, brass trigger guard and thumb plate and iron ramrod. Length: 38 cm.
