Farol de pie en jadeita y madera, dinastía Qing
Standing lantern made of assembled hardwood and jadeite plates. The plates are rectangular and are delicately decorated with engraved elements, enhanced with gold. The scenes represent women in different situations surrounded by nature. In total there are four framed sides and around them there is a border of fretwork. At the top and bottom there is a frieze of leaves with a concave profile, followed by another frieze of square fretwork. It is supported by a foot with a square profile and a skirt trimmed with archaic reliefs. Measures: 26 x 10,50 x 10,70 cm; Total weight: 855 g. Provenance: European private collection.
