1973 FORD CAPRI 1600GT Serial number : CGECNJ30271 In the same family since the beginning New paint French registration WITHOUT RESERVATION The engine is in working condition. The Ford Capri was presented at the Brussels Motor Show in 1969. From its launch, it is possible to choose between several engines. In Germany the customer was offered five: three V4 engines (1300, 1500, 1700 cm³) and two V6 engines (2000 or 2300 cm³). In the UK, the range was initially limited to two in-line 4-cylinder engines (1300 or 1600 cm³) and one V4 (2000 cm³). From autumn 1969, a new 3000 version, equipped with the V6 of the old Ford Zodiac, completed the British range. The Ford catalog offers no less than seven levels of finish. In the fall of 1970, the 2600 GT appeared, a sportier version equipped with a 2600 cm³ injection engine developing 125 HP. From the RS 2600 base, Ford Cologne and several French and German tuners developed a Group 2 homologated race car, winning twice the European Group 2 Championship, twice the 24 Hours of Francorchamps and even winning its class at Le Mans 1972. The model we are presenting belongs to the same family since 1973, the year the car was registered. It's a 1600GT with a 1600cm3 inline 4 cylinder. The interior is in very good condition.
