1987 CITROEN Type :CX GTI Turbo 2 Serial number : VF7MANK0003NK2961 18 300 € of restoration Collector's grey card 15 000 / 20 000 € In 1974, the new Citroën CX is presented to the public. In 1977 Citroën unveiled the CX GTI with a 2.4 liter engine with fuel injection that developed 128 hp. When Citroën unveiled the Citroën DS at the Paris Motor Show in 1955, the shock was great. The innovation was total in every respect: chassis, design, interior. The heavy heritage forced Citroën to distinguish itself by careful aerodynamics and a flattering coefficient of air penetration: less than 0.35: 0.30 at the time of its launch with an 11% improvement in SCx compared to the DS and a maximum of 0.35 for the Series 2 estate. Launched in October 1984, the CX GTI Turbo was manufactured in several versions. A first series, produced for less than a year (October 84 to June 85), has painted bumpers, and some interior specificities. A second series remains mechanically identical but has a new body with more enveloping bumpers. Finally, the Turbo 2 keeps the same bodywork, and gets an intercooler that improves fuel consumption but also performance. The CX Series 2 is marked by the abandonment of chrome for plastic. And its dashboard says goodbye to the rotating drum counters. The CX enters the eighties and benefits from a new look to face its competitors. On this GTI Turbo 2 version, it gets a large spoiler under the rear window and logos evoking power everywhere. It brings with the very nice alloy wheels a sporty style to this great youngtimer sedan. The presented model has been restored (18 300 € of restoration). We had a lot of fun driving it from the owner's home to Fontainebleau. Today, its value continues to rise and other countries have already started to get their hands on beautiful examples. So it's time to buy one. 1987 CITROEN Type: CX GTI Turbo 2 Serial Number: VF7MANK0003NK2961 18 300 € of restoration French Historic Registration 15 000 / 20 000 € In 1974, the new Citroën CX is presented to the public.
