He was the Secretary of State of the Household of King Louis XIV - Receipt signed "De Guénégaud" on his letterhead with his name and titles. "Baron de St Just, Lord of Guénégaud, and of Plessis-Belleville, King's Counselor and Treasurer of his savings. He confesses to have received in this City of Paris from Mr. Jean Bonnet Counselor of His Majesty and General Receiver of Finances in AMIENS (80) the sum of 1525 Livres in white money to the Mark and dozen of the deniers of his Charge of the last year 1641. Done in Paris on December 26, 1642. Parchment (22 x 30 cm).
