ORIGINAL EDITION of this important portolan detailing the ports and roadsteads of the Mediterranean, with the bottoms, the possible anchorages and sometimes the scales in toise. It consists of an engraved title, 167 plates (out of 170, plates 45,46 and 155 missing), and ends with an alphabetical table. Copy enriched with 2 illustrated advertisements of the period, one for the house J. Roux and the other for J. Trabaud, all located on the port of Marseille. Corner of one plate restored without missing, scattered foxing (Polak, 8468 gives 121 plates).
