As well as to the attack and the deffence of the ports (sic). Paris, chez Jean, s.d. (around 1790) In-4°, green half-maroquin with corners, spine decorated, marbled edges (binding of the XIX°). Entirely engraved work composed of 50 plates including the title, the warning, the table and 47 leaves, most of them decorated with 2 vignettes representing all the warships and their functions, as well as the maneuvers and fights. The last leaf gives the explanation of the marine terms. Second printing, one spine split over several centimeters. Scattered foxing, otherwise a good copy (Polak, 7234).
