FIRST EDITION OF THIS VERY BEAUTIFUL COLLECTION OF 16 LARGE SEA MAPS (one of them folding) and 3 BOAT MAPS, all mounted on tabs. The maps printed on heavy paper are dated between 1715 and 1726 and engraved very skillfully and accurately by P. Starkmann, one of the most sought-after map engravers of the time, who signed some of the maps. Maps: 1 - New map of the Ocean Coasts containing the Coasts of Portugal and Barbary ....
