"This atlas which by the sharpness of the engraving and the cleanliness of the wash is a real jewel" (Journal des Sçavans, volume 81) is illustrated with 48 DOUBLE PAGE MAPS FINALLY AQUARELLED, including 1 general map of France by the author and engraved by André Gaspard and an engraved alphabetical table. One corner dulled, missing the dedication leaf and the frontispiece, otherwise a good copy entirely mounted on contemporary morocco mounts.
