Description

Pendant of the middle of the XIXth century in yellow gold 14k (585 thousandths) and silver alloy surmounted by an important rose-cut diamond of Holland taken up on paillon of approx. 1,50 to 1,80 ct. (depth impossible to take because of the setting). It is surrounded by small rose-cut diamonds of Holland and faceted diamond chips. What makes this jewel so special is that the diamonds are rather clean and the setting has a calibrated H-I color. Strong blue fluorescence of the central diamond, so it is a natural diamond. Very nice period jewel. Dimensions : approx. 4 x 3,1 cm. Gross weight : 10,9 g. Note of the expert: The yellowish color of the diamond corresponds perfectly to the criteria of the time when the jewel was created. It is not important that the diamond is white, non-fluorescent and very pure... what matters is that it is a diamond!
