Description
The flagellation, part of an altarpiece in carved oak, polychromed and gilded. In the center, Christ tied to a column is surrounded by two executioners with raised arms, they are dressed in a pourpoint with inflated sleeves and a short skirt; a wall is erected against the column behind which two figures stand, one wearing a cap probably representing the high priest Caiaphas.
