LALIQUE, France. "L'Air Du Temps." Crystal perfume bottle. Cm 31.5x20x21. The base bears the Lalique signature. This is one of the best-known perfume bottles of all time. Sculptor Jean Rebull made an early sun-shaped version in 1948. Lalique's crystal version was made three years later, a ribbed bottle with two doves, a symbol of peace, on the cap. Since then numerous other designers have created bottles for this iconic perfume, including Marie-Claude Lalique (1996) and Philippe Starck (2010).
