Written by order of the people's representative Musset, sent to the Cantal department by the National Convention. Aurillac, Viallanes père & fils, sd (1794). In-4, 124 pp. in ff, sewn, in handwritten replacement cover. Brown stain on title page. Extremely rare first edition of this important report, which was republished in 1879, and offers the most interesting details on the situation in Cantal under the Convention.

Eugène LINTILHAC (Aurillac 1854-1920) writer and senator for the Cantal. MANUSCRIT autograph signed, Dans l'Université. Payons ce qu'il faut ; 10 pages and a half in-4 with erasures and corrections. Interesting article on the University, still relevant today. Lintilhac denounces the "university peril", the causes of which are: the growing insufficiency of salaries, the emigration of teachers to industry, recruitment difficulties...
