A very beautiful and rare "Tintin" 3-counter steel chronograph, tachometric bezel, black dial, white and red checkerboard surround, permanent seconds, luminous hands and hour markers, 30-minute and 12-hour totalizers. Screw-down caseback with Seahorse logo, text engraved in red "Flight-qualified by NASA for all manned space missions / The first watch worn on the moon", mechanical hand-wound movement caliber 1861. Original steel bracelet with folding clasp. Our watch is delivered complete with case, card holder, booklet, additional links, pictograms and warranty cards, in excellent condition and working order. This special series, produced over a period of around 2 years, was launched in 2013 at the Basel Fair. Somewhere between motor racing and the conquest of space, with the red-and-white grid around the dial in homage to the rocket in the comic strip "We walked on the moon", this Speedmaster, commonly referred to as "Tintin", is appreciated by aficionados as much for its relative rarity as for its strong identity.
