BEAUTIFUL COMMODE LOUIS XVI in mahogany, mahogany veneer, molded and panelled. It opens with four drawers on three rows, rounded, fluted and filleted uprights. It rests on tapered, fluted legs. Bronze ornamentation with scraper decorations, draw handles and lock entries. Marble top with brown and grey breccia. Probably stamped " Jean-Antoine Bruns ", received master on May 17, 1782, active in rue Saint-Nicolas in Paris. Period : Louis XVI.
