According to the classification, this mask, which can be attributed to the risiam style, comes from an empire in Yatenga. A particular type of antelope mask, the projected horns, reaching towards the sky in a long verticality, meeting at their extremities, at the top in a delicate and graceful curve conferring on the work an elegant and powerful dynamic.
