Catgut and flowers, circa 1760 Rare folded fan, the leaf in fine network called "catgut", decorated with purple, blue, pink and orange silk flowers. In the center, a scene painted on cut paper presents a couple and a pipe smoker. Dumb reverse. Ivory frame. The throat painted with a large pink flower. The top of the plumes pierced, carved and engraved with a landscape in the Chinese style, enhanced with mother-of-pearl spangles. H.t. 27,3 cm - H.f. 12,4 cm (restorations)
