Country Concerto, ca. 1720-1730 Folded fan, the double sheet in wallpaper of a young gathering in a park, playing music and singing. Reverse side decorated with a zigzag pattern. Ivory mounting. The throat pierced, carved and engraved with a musician and a singer. The plumes carved with a woman and flowers, and enhanced with white mother-of-pearl plates, one engraved with flowers, the other carved with a character.
