A country picnic is illustrated on the right, and figures at the water's edge on the left. Reverse side painted with a peasant walking, his rake on his shoulder. Mounted in pierced ivory, engraved in symmetry with a couple and an architecture. The engraved plumes, decorated with a silver piqué decoration and carved motifs in white mother-of-pearl including a bust in the antique style, and a woman with her basket.
