The Peach Lunch, circa 1700-1720 Finely painted ivory fan of a country lunch with a couple courting and each grabbing peaches presented on a tray. Musicians accompany them. Sculpture in light relief on the border with characters in the Chinese style, and golden flowers. On the first plume, a drinker dances with his bottle in his hand, and on the second plume, a nymph carries a cornucopia. On the reverse side, the motif of the face is repeated.
