Set of six Louis XVI armchairs, second half of the eighteenth century. Walnut wood. Upholstery with petit point style decoration. It shows signs of wear and tear. Measurements: 87 x 56 x 50 cm. Set of six armchairs from the reign of Louis XVI. The structure is light and stylised, with legs of inverted truncated conical column, rosettes on the knees and recessed arms. The shape of the backrest, rounded oval, is also typical of the Louis XVI chair. All the parts that make up the structure are subtly moulded. This is a pair of armchairs characterised by the lightness and classical architectural details typical of French court furniture of the second half of the 18th century.
