The clock presents in its center a round dial hemmed with a frieze of pearls, it indicates the hours in Roman numerals and the minutes in Arabic numerals, iron way on the circumference. It is surmounted by a scene of wild boar hunting featuring a young rider armed with a spear helped by his two dogs in a vegetal decor of oaks and boxwoods. The whole rests on a base centered with warrior attributes on a background of knotted ribbons such as a rifle, a spear, a horn or a sword, and is flanked by a garland festooned with oak leaves and acorns ending with five feet, the front ones spinning and the back ones straight. The candelabras with five arms of lights displaying on the shaft a Medici vase flanked by dog heads on the base surmounted by an openwork decoration of scrolls, acanthus leaves and pearls alternating with chains ending in suspended spinning tops. They stand on four feet simulating claws topped with plant garlands and a frieze of gadroons.
