Rara Acquaforte and incisione su rame Giuseppe VasI, cm46x37 Giuseppe Vasi pubblicò questa incisione, furono costruiti nuovi palazzi in stile tardo barocco, eppure Palazzo della Cancelleria non era considerato un antiquato, bensì un capolavoro che meritava ancora ammirazione per aver segnato una svolta nell'architettura civile. Vasi attributed it to Donato Bramante, the architect who introduced the Rinascimental style to Rome, but the art historians reject this opinion because Bramante came to Rome in 1499, when the project for the Palazzo della Cancelleria was already defined.
